Edgewater Marina

Cleveland, OH - Lake Erie

Pounded for hours by waves, some as high as 22 feet, the Edgewater Marina in Cleveland, Ohio, was destroyed by Super Storm Sandy in October, 2012. The storm left in its wake a devastated marina, with an estimated $4.3 million in damages to the boats alone.

In October, 2013, MariCorp U.S. was selected as the dock manufacturer, and began fabrication of the replacement docks. Crews labored through the winter installing the docks to ensure the facilities would be open by boating season.

The marina was designed with a unique mixture of slips to accommodate boats of various sizes. The docks with the greatest exposure to open water were built using our most substantial standard frame design to withstand extreme weather conditions.

Edgewater Marina now provides safe harbor to more than 240 boats. The marina features a fuel dock, courtesy dock, internal utility runs, fire and power pedestals, safety ladders and concrete decking.
